Major Problem... Please Help!!!!!

Okay well last night I was talking to ReckNball and I decided i wanted to play on 1.7 and 1.0 so we were working out all the messed up issues with my computer. THese issues included WnRAR not working, me downloading the patches taking about an hour each and I had to redownload 1.6 about 3 times.

After all this happens, my COD4 says that it is allready updated to 1.6 and 1.7 which it isn't!

So then tell ReckNball that im just gonna reinstall COD4 and he told me whatever i think is best, so yeah.

I uninstall it, then all the stuff dissapears like it should. Then I put the disc in to reinstall and the options that pop up are play Single player, Multiplayer, or uninstall which i have already done.

See my problem is that I uninstalled it already, and it won't let me reinstall. So FML!!!

So idk if I'll be able to play for a while without a SH!TLOAD of help.

And to clarify, I do not blame ReckNball at all, he was great help, he stayed on for about 3-5 hours helping me.

Ha hopefully he can help fix it! Cause if not I'd have to go buy COD4 all over again...

And instead of that I think I'd just go buy Black Ops but i really want to stay on COD4!!!!

well i suggest you go in and make sure you deleted all files of cod 4 both 1.7 and 1.0 i know that i have accidently left like 1 before so if you double check it that might help. (although i suspect you have already done so) but did you try to unistall again to see if its on a loop o did you just do it 1 time?

bro go into regiedit aand delete the cod4 temp files too

Yes, Samuri I have repeatly pressed uninstall and play multiplayer and all that happens is that it dissapears and nothing happens.

Sin, I believe that I will be able to be on for those times.

I googled the regiedit and how to reinstall CoD4 and ewiki or whatever told me how to do it...

It's installing right now! So hold your breathe and cross your fingers!! Very Happy
