What is the best recording program for in-game? It needs to be free. Cause I have recorded some with console and tried with Fraps but I think it lagged to much, and I dont really get along with Xifre video recording lolz.

One problem with Xifre is the size of the file, and the other is that the quality gets very bad when I edit it and upload it to Youtube.
And IAM I have used the console and cod4player. But I cant import that file to Windows Movie Maker. That's why I need some other program to record it with and Fraps I had a bit to much lagg and it could only record 30 sec at a time.

Now I was able to get good quality with Fraps. And I got it registered so now I can record more 30 sec at a time. But when I import it to Windows Movie Maker and starts editing it the quality get VERY bad. I think it is so strange when the quality is good when I have recorded with Fraps but as soon as I start editing it the quality drops.

Ok this is the best I could do. This is just a test video.
Video code: wmv1 Video size: 640x480 Video bitrate: 4000 (Im not sure about this, might be 1024) Video framerate: 30
Does the Video bitrate make a big difference? Do you think this is good enough? Should I change video code, video size, video bitrate and/or video framerate?

Ok now I have downloaded Sony vegas 8. But when I am gonna render the video as WMV it says that there is no templates and I cant click on custom. You can see in this video about 1min in he shows it.

Sony Vegas Pro 9 I have it for free for rendering but for fraps run the screen in a smaller res and record in half not full
