Alright guys, after trying my idea/tactic earlier tonight on Bog, and we've decided that it is VERY effective. We won 2-1 (1500ish-720), and Sperrow had a score of like 58-9.
What the tactic is that you run the map in a clockwise or counter-clockwise circle, and just steamroll all the spawnpoints, not even giving the other team a chance to spawn.
This will be most effective with Extreme Conditioning, so you can run longer. Stealth is of no importance, since you're moving a whole force of like 6+ people (was 8vs7 in Bog, and that just destroyed the other team), lol. I haven't decided whether or not we need an LMG person, to pick off any stragglers. The downside of the LMG is that they run slow.
What would make it VERY effective is a team full of P90's with stopping power or something, lol. high ammo capacity, fast, and run for long distances.
We could also do this idea with sniper rifles, even on an anygun server, and probably still steamroll the whole other team.
I'm thinking of a class like this:
G36 (good power, and light, so you can run longer) 3xflash/stun (keep em immobilized) Sleight of hand, or stopping power Extreme conditioning
We need to figure out a server to take over and steamroll, first.
{SA} will always be OpFor/Spetznas, since we're the bad/mean for steamrolling everyone
Post up a server you want to steamroll, and we'll work on setting up dates/times for the different servers. |

mp5 is also a good choice. and also we can have g3's, as many of us are really good at them.
i can set up a new profile for this, if you need.
if we are going to a hardcore server, because softcore is just absolutely horrendous, we wont have much of a need with stopping power, maybe more of a deep impact, especially if we get in the LMG
and 1 more thing, it would help ALOT if everyone got on ventrilo...or teamspeak XD |

We need to find a PB server with hardcore mode first, so we can do it.
The reason I suggested that we try to keep the same gun, is so you pretty much never run out of ammo, since when a teammate dies, he drops ammo that you can use. |

Not only that but think of the dismay on the other team when they are looking at each other going WTF!
I think that before everyone tries a different gun we should try all using the same exact gun with perks to help the team out. So some members will have to have different perks then others.
If we try it this way and it works out, then awesome. If not, we can then try different guns and such. The IDEA is a great one so lets make at least one attempt to make it work out. |

Also before we go into a server team assignment must be determined for the different maps/game so that we all get on the same team as quick as possible!

My interpretation of the guns in the Assault class.
M16A4-Great accuracy, but limited by its 3-burst. ideal with red dot and silencer. Same damage as G36, and little recoil, comparing with the M4
AK-47-High damage, but with alot of recoil, making its accuracy go down. With red dot sight, can be increased, but for increased accuracy, suggested burst shots for more control. Its superior damage is irrelevant for a hardcore match.
M4 Carbine- Good fire rate, and low recoil for increased accuracy over the AK. Its low damage input can be put aside in a hardcore match with well placed shots, idealy with red dot sight.
G3- Highest accuracy, with enough power for one shot kills on most hitmarkers in hardcore, it is ideal for long range sniper type shooting, but with a good trigger finger(and good computer) can beat the M4 Carbine in a fight. With more accuracy than a M4, it is preferable for long range shootouts, and with a silencer attached, you can have missed shots without alerting the target.
G36- My weapon of choice for this, it has higher accuracy than an AK-47, with the same damage as a G3, makes it a fully automatic version of the G3, and with a silencer, can be unnoticed when shooting. More ideal than the M4, as the higher damage will leave less hitmarkers, and bring more kills more often
M14- A less accurate version of the G3, it delivers more power, but higher recoil, mostly while spraying and aiming down sights at same time. Its damage increase makes it better than G3 only in Softcore game modes, but still can be used effectively if you never miss, and leaves no hitmarkers.
MP44- A gun that is only good for getting a golden AK-47, its accuracy and damage being the same of the AK. Its recoil is higher than the AK, and add in the fact that you cant add in a red dot sight or silence, makes it very unpractible in what we are going to be doing.
My choice would be the G36. Its damage decrease from the AK is unnoticed in a hardcore game, and with the same accuracy as the G3, with slightly more recoil, it can easily be managed without a red dot sight, making a silencer a better attachment. I have no details on ACOG for this gun, but i assume its like all the other acogs on assault guns.
I suggest 3 groups, Breakers, Task Force, Sweepers (name suggestions are welcome)
Breakers- These people clear out the enemy front lines as much as they can, to weaken their positions. They keep going until they die, shoot at anything, and breaking enemy explosive devices and generally clearing the way.
Task Force- Suggested 2 teams, Alpha, beta, whatever you want.(number of members determined when we can get a number on members reporting for this task of rolling) The front lines broken by the Breakers, these people pick up the enemy confused/engaged with breakers. They clear out the rest of the enemy, and hopefully wont die. They are the main part of the group, and will contain the most people.
Sweepers- These people, recommended 2-3, will possibly have LMG's of their choice and comfort, and will protect our flanks and rear. They will pick up any stragglers missed by the first 2 groups, and will prevent being overrun from behind.
Perks ideal for G36
Tier 1-*Group 1(Breakers)*Bandolier out of question, as we will all have the same gun. A bomb squad is ideal, to sweep out any explosives. Frag x3 is also good, to clear out defenders before they have a chance to kill, and clear out lmg campers. recommended not too many people, possibly 3-4 as too many grenades could be thrown back or a bad bounce and land in the middle of our task force. Special grenade x3 could also be useful...Sin... -*Group 2(Task Force)*An rpg could be in the middle of the group(if they are lucky enough to get a heli), and if they are allowed on people, could help the Breakers clear through the front lines. Frag x3, and SG x3. If you REALLY want to, bandolier can be an option as well. -*Group 3(Sweepers)* As they will protect our rear/flank, Claymores are the most ideal perk, and maybe one person with bandolier(only if they have LMG). If you can use it defensively as well, C4 can be substituted to prevent pistoling clays/ setting them off then running back.
Tier 2-*Group 1* Juggernaut would be useful on softcore, but mostly pointless on hardcore. Sleight of Hand will be extremely useful, as 30 bullets goes down fast. Also UAV jammer can be used exceptionally well, the element of suprise will make the Breakers last longer. Possibly double tap as well. -*Group 2* Double tap would work well with these men, clearing out people fast, as would sleight of hand, for similar reasons as above. Overkill, if you want to bring a sniper along***recommended people like sperrow with overkill with sniper ONLY*** -*Group 3* Double tap and Sleight of Hand would both do fine, SoH if you think you will have lots of trouble. if not, just use double tap***DT recommended with Bandolier*** Sonic boom will work too, recommended in conjunction of C4.
Tier 3-*Group 1* Extreme conditioning, as when they die they will have to catch back up to clear front lines again. Steady aim, and last stand***Only if its allowed*** can do great too, LS especially to get that last kill***use a DEAGLE with LS***Deadsilence can be used if the server is slow, and footsteps are easily heard, use in conjunction with UAV jammer. -*Group 2* Steady aim, for obvious reasons. If you can think of another, recommend one, tell me why etc etc -*Group 3* Deep Impact, mostly with LMG's, to wall spam our behinds and also if they hid after shots fired at them. Martyrdom and Last stand, to give time for our Task Force to clear out***again only if its allowed***
If you have any recommendations, please tell me, and I will update

sorry, i was editing everything after the Review of the guns. Look at it now, tell me what you think. Im not doing a review of SMG's if this is good enough, unless someone else wants to do it, and we compare the G36 to the top SMG.
Note, if SMG review is done, it can be decided the Breakers get the Top SMG, and Task force gets G36 |

M16 is a good idea, because due to having 5+ people on the team with bursts, it will be the same as one or two shooting full-auto, while conserving ammo.
AK-47 is a bad idea, due to the high recoil. On large maps, the recoil will throw the accuracy out the window. It would be okay on small maps like crash and showdown.
M4 is an okay idea, but the M16 has more punch, and with the more amount of ammo being required, means it may take longer to wipe out the other team, and also run out of ammo faster, which is always bad.
G3 isn't a good idea for steamrolling, due to it's low rate of fire, but could be worth a try, due to its high damage.
G36 is probably the best idea, with the M16 coming in a close second. The G36 is also a compact weapon, allowing for better mobility, which is excellent in smaller maps. This will need a red-dot sight to be useful, because the G36 iron sights are crap.
M14 isn't worth mentioning, because it's got negatives all over. Its only positive is its high power.
MP44- Agreed
My choice is G36, or M16, followed by G3. As long as the guns use the same ammo, everything will be alright.
Breakers-- Perks Bomb Squad Stopping power Extreme Conditioning, or deep impact (punch through walls, to blow up claymores/C4. G3/AK47 is preferred here, for their ability to punch through walls)
Weapons- MP5, or G36
Task Force- Perks
3x Stun, to impede the other teams effectiveness, and potentially kill one or two in the process. Double tap or sleight of hand Extreme Conditioning
Weapons G36 M16
Sweepers- RPD or M249. M60 is too heavy and slow to be of use, other than killing a chopper (stopping power and deep impact for that). Perks
Bandolier or 3x frag Double tap, or stopping power Steady aim or extreme conditioning (less stamina with LMG's) Last stand preferred, unless they are consistently on our tails, then you grab a marty class.
Pistols for everyone: Desert eagle, for its damage. M9 for half the team, if one of the squads uses MP5's. |

alrighty then. sinful has relayed basically everything i said, with adding in a few SMG's.
i think the breakers should have the MP5, leave the G36 to the task force, and sweepers have their own lmg choice |

ak47 no attachment
ak47u no attachment
r700/m40a3 if needed
desert eagle
bandolier/bomb squad stopping power extreme conditioning/dead silence
using lmgs, equipment such as claymores, c4, x3nade/special grenade are frowned upon when scrimming
also you don't need to be this tactical to be successful just make sure you don't stack together and watch different areas of the map |
