Xfire Screenshots:
When in-game. Scroll Lock+S is the default keys for a screenshot (if you have x-fire). After that you get off the game, mine usually makes sure I have the screenshots I want with a window open offering me the screenshots I took and then the option to delete them or not. After that, go to your profile on xfire and view your screenshots. Find the ones you want and you can do one of 2 things. Theres an option that says you can copy it to another site or page. Copy the line that says bbc code. Paste it on here.
The other way is to Save the image onto your computer, and get back on here and click host an image, upload the image from where you saved it at, and copy the middle line, (I haven't tried them all) and then paste it into here.
Hope I helped and good luck getting into {SA}.
Windows Screenshots:
And if you do not have xfire (it's necessary for an application) press on your keyboard "print" and paste it with CTRL+v into an image picture editor like windows paint. Save this file (prefered as x.png) and upload it on http://imageshack.us/ f.e.
CoD4 Screenshots:
Also, COD4 has a built in screenshot program. You just press F12.

hmmmm shouldn't. Did you go to Windows Paint and select paste from the Edit menu? Then save the image? Cause I still use that method when I choose to play with my xfire offline.

I know this is a little late, but the PRT/SCREEN button DOES work. Like Major said, all you're doing is COPYING an image of everything that's on the screen. But you have to put it somewhere. You have to PASTE it into paint.
